Swede Rostem Akman (6-1) made his UFC debut on very short notice, but this time he has time to get ready as he will face Australian Jake Matthews (14-4) in Australia on Saturday’s huge UFC 243 card.

The Fightzone Stockholm fighter lost a close decision to Sergey Khandozhko (27-5-1) at UFC Stockholm 6 back in June, where the 27-year-old had already had an impressive two fights in the one month prior to the bout.
The IMMAF standout came into the fight undefeated at 6-0 with all stoppages.
The 24-year-old Australian welterweight was defeated by Anthony Rocco Martin in his home country last December, so will be looking for redemption in front of his fans. The TUF Nations fighter will be in his 12th UFC fight, so a big experience advantage.
UFC 243 is headlined by a much anticipated middleweight title bout between champ Robert Whittaker and interim titleholder Israel Adesanya. The event is expected to have over 30,000 fans in attendance.
