Last week MMAViking reported that Cage 18 card had taken some hits inform of injuries and cancellations. Bad luck seems to continue as the promotion announced today that even more fighters were injured and unable to fight. But the promotion is fighting back and pulling all strings trying to get replacements and even new fights on the card. Here are the latest changes:
Jarmo Paunonen injured his hand and is out of the fight with Aleksi Kainulainen who will now fight Lithuania’s Arvydas Zilius (3-5).
Mindaugas Baranauskas also broked his hand and is currently undergoing surgery in a hospital. Highly regarded prospect Musa Amagov (1-0) will now face a even stiffer challenge as he will fight Lithuanian Vaidas Valancius (11-7-2) who has tons of more experience than Amagov.
A completely new fight on the card is a bantamweight bout between MMA Utti’s Toni Tauru (1-1-1) and undefeated Oleg Khromov (6-0) of Lithuania.
