Cage 47 goes down this Saturday in Helsinki, and now headliner Olli Santalahti (9-3-0) will be facing Konstantin Linnik (10-7) from the Ukraine. The “Amazing” Santalahti was set to face Brazilian Rafael Moreira (15-3-1), but he has just pulled out due to injury.
Santalahti beat Rafael da Silva Cordeiro (8-3-0) from Brazil at Cage 46 in tough fight by unanimous decision over the experienced Brazilian in his last outing. The Finnish welterweight has won an impressive 9 out of his last 10 bouts.
“I will give you the most entertaining and spectacular fight of the evening!”
“The change of the opponent is the normal for fight week that has already become my routine. It’s always annoying. Physically, it does not affect in any way the preparation and I am ready.” says Olli.
Linnik once had a 5 fight winning streak. However, he has lost 5 of his last 7 bouts, including a most recent loss in August at Crimea Rush.
In the other headliner, top Finnish prospect Aleksi Mäntykivi will face undefeated Kaynan Kruschewsky out of Brazil.
