Reza Madadi (14-6) was ready to call it a career, at least that is what the Allstars Training Center lead on when he last fought in May of last year at the UFC in Sweden. However, “Mad Dog” has been in intense training and has now made it official that he has signed a multi-fight contract with the ACB promotion.Β The promotion revealed the signing to MMAViking.com.
Madadi has a 14 win and 6 loss record, and turned pro in 2006. Mad Dog already became the oldest UFC lightweight to ever compete and win in the Octagon. Reza will turn 40 this June.

The Allstars Training Center fighter lost a three round split decision Joaquim Silva in Stockholm in his most recent bout on short notice, and before that lost against Joseph Duffy at UFC Fight Night London.
Reza has a three win and four loss record in the Octagon, with his most notable win a submission victory over Michael Johnson back at UFC in Sweden 2 in 2013.
The promotion recently posted their schedule with ACB 92 on August 11 in MalmΓΆ schedule. Once the event is finalized, they are looking at Madadi is a featured fighter on the card.
They have recently hired former UFC champion and current Bellator fighter Frank Mir to help with PR.
