On June 18th, ICE FC returns to follow-up their successful event that took place in Copenhagen and on this card the Danish bantamweight Camilla Hinze (1-2) returns to action against Joleen Ross (0-0) whom will make he pro MMA debut. Camilla’s latest fight ended up in a loss by decision after a tough three round war against at bantamweight against Veronica Macedo at Trophy MMA 8 in March.

“I’m a little disappointed that I didn’t get the win over Veronica Macedo, but I had a hard time cutting weight so this time it will be different. This time it’s catchweight at 63.5 kg and hopefully it will show in the fight and I’ll be more energetic”

The Arte Suave fighter won her pro debut by TKO only to suffer two consecutive losses by decision and she has been looking forward to the return to the cage in order to get in the winning column.

“It feels amazing to be back so soon for another fight. My preparations are going really well and i’m feeling great.”

Opponent in this coming bout will be the British Judoka Joleen Ross that is making her debut in the world of pro MMA, the Danish striker doesn’t seem to mind taking on a debutant nor a Judoka.

“The good thing about meeting a debutant is that i’m going to be more experienced fighting in a cage than her. I don’t know much about her other than she is a judoka, but i’m always training to meet everyone so I like the surprise that I don’t know much about her and her style”

Hinze shows a positive mindset ahead of the fight and also the future.

“You can expect a fighter who is really hungry for the win and expect a more technical and powerful fighter than what was shown in my last fight. I have high hopes for the future, mma is my life so i’ll do my best to bring an awesome fight”

Hinze joins Jonas Magard as the Nordic fighters on the ICE FC 16 in the UK at the Temple Park Centre, South Shields.
