Thomas Jessing (3-1) had an interesting weekend, starting with Friday as he planned on facing KevinΒ Suzanne (0-1) out of France. “My coach said, ‘I have some bad news. Your opponent is flying back to France. He is too tired to fight tomorrow, and unhappy about the room service that spent an hour to fix his room.”
TheΒ Artesuave welterweight was however able to get a late replacement, and another standup oriented fighter. “My manager found a replacement in middleweight Andrew Connor with a boxing record of 18-0 and a MMA record of 7-23-0.”
So, the night went on and it was all Jessing during the fight against the new opponent. The Norwegian raised Dane won by submission early. “I choked him out cold in less than a minute in the 1st round by arm triangle choke.”
Jessing now gets back on the winning track, after suffering his first loss at LFC 7, where he loss by decision.
