The featherweight does not have an opponent for his debut, which is expected to be on the BAMMA 26 card at the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
Bäckström has a 9 win, 2 loss, and 1 N/C record and gained the most attention with a front kick stoppage of Max Coga in 15 seconds and a successful debut in the UFC against Tom Niinimäki.
After dropping his last two fights in the Octagon, the 26 year old submitted Georgi Stoyanov at the Battle of Botnia 5 in November.
