Fight Night Finland’s poster boy Juho Valamaa was originally scheduled to face british veteran Jack Mason, but Mason had to pull out of the fight citing an injury he sustained in training. Jason Ponet stepped in on a relatively short notice to face the reinvigorate Finn. Valamaa and Ponet exchanged some strikes standing up, but once the fight hit the mat, you could see that Valamaa doesn’t want the fight to go to the judges. Valamaa sunk in an deep RNC and Ponet was forced to tap on the first round.
