Superior Challenge today received some nice press from one of MMA’s most respected website, CagePotato.com. Below is the article
Former UFC middleweight champion, Murilo Bustamante and former DREAM Lightweight Grand Prix winner, Joachim “Hellboy” Hansen will compete alongside veterans Hector Ramirez, David Baron, Daniel Acacio and David Bielkheden on a pretty decent card in Sweden on October 29.
Superior Challenge 6 will take pace at the Hovet in Stockholm and will feature two title bouts between welterweights Bielkheden and Acacio and lightweights Hansen and Sami Aziz.
Bielkheden is 3-0 since being dropped by the UFC following a submission loss to Mark Bocek at UFC 97. Prior to that fight he defeated Jess Liaudin at UFC 89 and lost to Diego Sanchez at UFC 82.
Acacio, who holds wins over former PRIDE Welterweight Grand Prix champion Kazuo Misaki and former IFL standout Delson Heleno is coming off of a loss to Paul Daley at Impact FC 1: The Uprising in July.
1-3 in his last four outings, Hansen (20-10-1) who defeated Hideo Tokoro in his last outing will be looking to raise his stock by winning another title by defeating 5-2-1 fighter Sami Azziz who is 0-2 in his last two fights. In his most recent bout, Azziz lost via decision to WEC veteran Jameel Masouh.
Bustamante (14-8-1), who hasn’t fought since suffering a dizzy spell during hisImpact FC fight with Jesse Taylor in July will have his hands full with 12-3-1 Swedish fighter Tor Troeng, who hasn’t lost since 2008 when he was bested by Acacio at Fight Festival 23.
