MMA Team 300’s Kennet Mattson (7-2) kept his professional MMA winning streak going Saturday night in Truku, but it wasn’t easy. “Niko was strong, so it wasn’t easy to implement my game plan” says the grappler that extends his pro victory run to 6.
“He probably knew I wanted to go to the ground.” says Mattson about his strategy of setting up take-downs with punches. After three tough rounds at FNF 9, the Mattson says in the second round “my legs stopped working”. RNC Sport Club’s Niko Myllynen (4-3) was consistently battling out of triangles and making his way back to his feet to push the fight the full 15 minutes.
