Reza Madadi is ready to return to where his career left off. The Allstars Training Center fighter hasn’t been in the cage since his April 2013 bout against Michael Johnson, where he stopped the American in the third round.

“Mad Dog” was released from the UFC following accusations of a “smash and grab” incident that eventually landed the lightweight in prison doing time. “Don’t believe everything you see and read in the media” said Madadi to MMAViking.com when the ongoing legal proceedings when the accusations came to the public.

“I’m back! My hunger to regain my place as one of the best lightweights in the world is more than ever. I will show the world that Maddog is and will remain a top fighter. Maddog is back!”

Madadi is now training full time at Allstars Training Center and ready to resume his career. After released form the UFC, Mad Dog was seen at Superior Challenge 9 where he respectfully called out Finland’s top lightweight in Anton Kuivanen. A bout now buzzed about as the two top lightweights are outside of Octagon obligations.
