Finn Juho Valamaa starts off his aggressive plan of having two fights within a three week period starting today in Lohja, Finland. “I wanted to have more than two fights this year, and had the opportunity to fight in two good events.β says Valamaa to mmaViking.com.
The Finnfighters Gym fighter takes on late replacement tonightΒ Twan Van Buren (5-4) from Holland, after preparing for grapplerΒ Frenchman Davy Gallon (12-4).
The six win and three loss fighter then takes on Daniel De Madallena in Turku at Cage 27 three weeks from today. Β “Fights are really close, but I don’t think it’ll be problem if I don’t get any injuries.β says the well rounded welterweight.
“I hope I learned enough from the Vantinnen fight. We have made my training more intelligent, and tried to enhance focus for fights and for goals in it.”
Valamaa had won two straight to end 2013, submitting Mindaugas Baranauskas at Cage 23 and Romain Perras at Cage 24 before dropping a close decision to Johan Vanttinen at Helsinki Fight Night in an exciting 15 minute battle.
