Superior Challenge 9 has added another fight. This time the promotion will put on Swede Muay Thai Champion Martin Akhtar who will fight the Frenchman Damien Pighiera on November 23 at the Scandinavium in Gothenburg. Read the press release sent out today.

European champion in Thai boxing Martin Akhtar meets Frenchman Damien Pighiera at Superior Challenge 9 – Gothenburg, 23 November at the Scandinavium.
The multi-time Muay Thai champion from Malmö started MMA about a year ago and has since had time for four professional MMA fights. During his second MMA match at Superior Challenge 8 – Malmo, Akhtar met Brazilian Leandro Gontijo who has a black belt in BJJ , where he impressed many by fighting his way to a victory in one of the evening’s most action – packed fights. In that fight, the Muay Thai Champ showed that he is sufficiently complete to even finish a grappling ace.
Frenchman Damien Pighiera is a complete MMA fighter from Bushido Academie where he training with Samy Schiavo . Damien is an explosive and aggressive fighter who has managed a total of eight matches including five wins since pro debut in 2011.
