Thales Leites, the former UFC title contender, will be returning to Sweden for the Superior Challenge middleweight belt. The Brazilian gives MMA Viking a few exclusive comments about why he likes fighting in Sweden and his opinion of Sweden’s largest MMA promotion Superior Challenge.
“I feel really good fighting in Sweden” says the fighter that will compete in Stockholm in consecutive fights. Following up his recent victory over top Swedish fighter Tor Troeng last October at Superior Challenge 6, the Nova Uniao fighter will return to face the experienced Jeremy Horn on April 30 for Superior Challenge’s 7th event “Rise of Champions”.

Leites commented after his last victory, that he felt “at home” in Sweden. He says “Superior Challenge is a great show” and looks forward to his return to the popular event, which is being billed as one of the biggest in Europe. The middleweight title bout will be the first time that the strap will be on the line for the weight class. The lightweight and welterweight titles will also be on the line in this high-profile event.
