Dare Championship just announced that their star Ole Laursen will be meeting the Strikeforce veteran Joe Ray. The two fighters will face off 12th of October in Bangkok, Thailand.
The American Joe Ray have a record of 9-3-0, his losses have come from former UFC fighter and Swede Chris Spång, UFC fighter Nah-Shon Burrell and undefeated Jeremy Smith. All of his wins have come by finishes, and is riding a 4 fight win streak.
Ole ‘Iron Fist’ Laursen comes from a ‘Fight of the Year’ worthy performance against Eduard Folayang, a gritty and tough fight which he won in the end. He is 6-3-0 in his career, the losses coming from Felipe Enomoto, UFC and Pride veterans Caol Uno and Genki Sudo.
The two fighters will headline the Dare Championship – ‘Rebels of MMA’ card.
